Many of the available coins and bars are IRA-approved including the Silver American Eagle, Gold Austrian Philharmonic, American Gold Buffalo, Gold Canadian Maple Leaf, Gold American Eagle, Gold Australian Kangaroo, Palladium American Eagle, Platinum Britannia, and Platinum Australian Kangaroo.

When it comes to gold pricing, Money Metals Exchange is very competitive. At the time of writing, in July 2022, the company's 1-ounce gold bullion bars are currently listed at only $62 over the daily spot price. In our books, this is an excellent deal since many American dealers offer gold bars at 5% over spot or even higher, which is at least $85 based on current pricing.

However, the same isn't true for silver. Money Metals Exchange offers 1-ounce silver bullion products at $5.50 over spot price, which is about 35% higher than the current market rate. That's more or less align with what their competitors offer, since many American firms list their silver bullion around 30% higher than the spot price.
