Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, American Precious Metals (www.apmaz.com) has been a leading precious metals dealer since 1994. It has a preferred partnership with IRA custodian, New Direction Trust Company, which assists customers with establishing self-directed IRAs.

The catalog of investment products focuses on providing customers with bullion products that can be included in a retirement account, or portfolio. Gold and silver bars and coins are in the inventory. There are several bullion products that can be held in a self-directed IRA.
