new-gold-guideAmerican Bullion (www.americanbullion.com) is one of the most well-known companies in the precious metals field. They specialize in guiding investors through the process of converting existing retirement products such as IRA’s and 401k’s into gold. American Bullion is also adept at creating new retirement accounts for people looking to start saving for retirement and who want to invest in physical gold and silver. If you are interested in learning more about American Bullion, we highly recommend requesting their free gold kit, which contains valuable information about the company, their bullion products and answers to all questions a potential client might have about rolling over an existing retirement vehicle to physical precious metals for safety & portfolio diversification.

In addition to gold bullion, American Bullion also carries IRA-grade silver bullion, platinum and palladium. They also offer European coins minted before 1933 and U.S. coins. This makes them a popular gold dealer among collectors as well.

Some of their accreditations include:

  • They are a listed dealer with the United States Mint.
  • A verified member of the American Numismatic Association.
  • An A+ rated and accredited member of the Better Business Bureau.
  • A Triple A (AAA) rated and accredited member of the Business Consumer Alliance

This company seems to be a great option for beginner investors who would like to invest in physical metals through a retirement account, for diversification or protection reasons. They are also a good choice for investors and collectors interested in rare bullion coins from all over the world.

I bought a few gold eagles from American Bullion a few years ago and I was pretty satisfied, except it took a little long for shipping. I may or may not buy from them again shortly, still waiting for the price of gold to settle. Perhaps I’ll give Regal Asset a try too. We’ll see.

I’ve worked with the American Bullion advisors before, seemed very interested in helping me and my wife make the right choice for us. I trust these guys with my own savings.

Spoke with Jordan and he shared a lot of information with me that I had never considered. We ended up investing with American Bullion to give us a peace of mind with our retirement. Nice people, waived the first year storage fee for us.
We also plan to roll over some more of my wife’s 401k when she’s retired next summer.
