U.S. Money Reserve is a precious metal investment company, established in 2001. Founded in Austin, Texas, it offers a wide variety of gold, silver, and platinum products. Moreover, it operates as an IRA company, enabling clients to set up a gold IRA. In fact, in August 2022, a new corporate office opened in Scottsdale, Arizona, headed by executives Phillip Diehl and Edmund Moy.

The inventory at U.S. Money Reserve includes both collectible coins, and bullion approved to be held in a Precious Metals IRA. A myriad of gold, silver, and platinum products are available, but no palladium.

Moreover, U.S. Money Reserve is focused on informing and educating customers about precious metals. The website contains a “Knowledge Center” and “News” section providing daily updates to precious metals markets, and other investment news.

President – Philip N. Diehl

Philip N. Diehl is the president of the U.S. Money Reserve. Diehl was the quondam Chief of Staff of the U.S. Treasury Department and the 35th Director of the United States Mint.

Senior Chief Strategist – Edmund C. Moy

Edmund Moy served as the 38th Director of the United States Mint between 2006 and 2011. Since his retirement from public office, he has worked within the precious metals industry, including as Chief Strategist for U.S. Money Reserve.

U.S. Money Reserve Custodian and Storage

U.S. Money Reserve is not transparent about which IRA custodian provides custodial services to its clientele. In addition, it does not stipulate if any depository provides secure storage.
